When using the Subscooter, as well as diving on different contexts, you should pay attention to the security rules established by the International Classification Society IRS and the direction of the French Maritime Affairs:

• A diving guide needs to be in sight of the machine at all times to provide assistance.
• The machine should not be used in zones of a depth of more than 6m.
• Sea temperature should not be lower than 10°C (50°F).
• Sea conditions should not be over 3 on Douglas Scale (waves under 0.50m).
• The speed of the water current should not exceed 1 Knot.
• The machine should not be used in a low-light environment.
